Protection technology of chain link fence

1.     Applicable conditions: When the rock mass can cause danger, in order to prevent the occurrence of danger, implement protective measures, use bolt chain link fence shotcrete or spray concrete to reinforce the rock at a certain depth from the slope.

2.     Construction method:

Clean the surface of the slope to loosen soil, rock and weathered rock, and make the slope surface roughly flat and concave for embedding.

Use an air gun to drill the anchor rod hole depth 20cm than the anchor rod hole.

Use a high-pressure water gun to rinse the rock powder in the hole and insert it into the anchor rod, pour 1:3 cement mortar to fix the anchor rod and tamping it to a compact.

Sweep the floating soil and gravel on the slope and further rinse it with high-pressure water.

When the strength of the fixed anchor rod mortar reaches 70, install the prefabricated chain link fence frame on the anchor rod, lashing and welding firmly, and then install the lashing chain link fence. The chain link fence should be 1 cm away from the surface.

After the spraying of mortar or sprayed concrete is completed, immediately cover with straw bags. When the slurry reaches the initial setting, start spraying water for curing so that the surface of the ash body is often kept moist and curing for 710 days.

3.     Construction Notes:

The treatment method for the connection of the surrounding of the protection project and the unprotected slope is the same as that of shotcrete and shotcrete slope protection.

The anchoring depth of the anchor rod and the mesh density of the chain link fence are determined by the nature of the slope rock and the degree of weathering. The general anchoring depth is 0.51.0m and the wire mesh spacing is 2025cm.

The thickness of shotcrete shall be no less than 3cm, and the thickness of shotcrete shall be no less than 5cm. The thickness of shotcrete shall be even. Do not expose the chain link fence and anchor rod head.

4.     Expansion joints are set every 1012.5m along the extension direction of the frame, and a joint width of 2cm is used to fill the joints with asphalt hemp or oil felt.

5.     When the rock at the foot of the slope is severely weathered, a No. 5 cement mortar rubble skirt with a height of 12m and a width of 40cm should be used.

6.     If there is exposed groundwater on the slope, a drain hole must be set to lead the groundwater out.

7.     The location of the top intercepting ditch should be properly moved out when the top rock crack is severely cut.

8.     The protective engineering should be checked and repaired frequently if cracks are found, and the joints should be grouted in time.
